Huh?... from RobShaw  5/18/2012 7:12:30 AM
22 pounds is stingy? That river gets pounded 7 days a week yet still produces quality fish. It's the best we have on the east coast...for now. Back Bay here in Va Beach might just return to the glory days of old...but thats a different story.

the weekend series had like 8 bags over 20 pounds a few weeks back. so i would say its being a but stingy.

you would have to compare the tides to make an accurate comparison between the two events.

They also hit a late spawn. Normally now would be hot but this year its all but over. Weights are headed down just like summer time. It would depend on the timing of the tides with the last hour and one half in and out usually the best. We hit them in March this year and they bit all day. Tide didn't make any difference.

I'd bet that the vast majority of the bigger females have just got done spawning and are in recouperation mode, another week or so and they will all put on the feed bag, hopefully just in time for the BFL June 2nd! :)
