 Me and my fishing buddy are thinking of heading down to Smith Mtn. Lake the last few days of March to get away from the snow in NY. Looking for any info /advice about the lake. Any idea of water temp ? Anything will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 Lake is around 58 surface.....been prefishing for tourney this weekend and it's been SLOW!! Crawling a jig seems to be best bet however had some luck with white/chartreuse spinners.
