    Guntersville trip any help greatly appreciated

 I am planning a trip in 2weeks with my father. We have never been to guntersville but heard great things about it. Neither of us are very experienced fishermen. Any good spots we could try? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. We are driving approx 8 hrs and really looking forward to the trip and any good tips would be so helpful.
