I am interested in the Berkley Cyclone Line Spooling Station that sells in Bass Pro Shops for $229. Does anyone here use one?

Any information will be appreciated.

Dude I have one and it is awesome from Muskyman (135.214.150.100)  2/7/2003 11:42:00 PM
I re-spool every weekend and it is nice not to have to fork over the money to take me out to some shop and have some kid drop my reels. I buy all my line in bulk now (ffo-tackle.com ) and I would have some 5 amp fuses on hand as that is the only thing you may go through. It is really nice machine and it can be used in your car too. Everything is in a nice hard case that you could ship or take on the airlines and not have to worry about it breaking. It is good for reels that are like calcutta 400 and smaller. Any bigger and they will not fit or will burn alot of fuses. This machine is nice but don't tell your buddies or you will find them over at your house every fri night getting free line.

Great for taking line off for sure. I guess it's just a little too fussy for me getting the reels set up right in the jig. Sounds like Muskyman has the same problem or he wouldn't have mentioned the fuses. When you get it you'll wonder why they couldn't sell it for a reasonable price like $70.
