Coming home on leave from North Carolina the middle of July and want to try my luck on ELK Lake for Walleyes. I have not fished for EYES in 19 years that I have been in the Marine Corps. Want to turn the wife on to the fun of catching them. Any advise on lake location, baits, and tactics would be highly appreciated. Please e-mail the info. Also if there is some place better near ELK lake that 17.5 foot basstracker can go would appreciate info on that also. Will be in the Kalkaska county area for a week.
