SUBJECT: # 86: Walleye Fishing w/live bait

Submitted by Mike A from GEORGIA on 7/9/2000 12:22:00 PM

If you fish for Walleyes with live bait. such as night crawlers or large shiners or minnows, what size hook should you use?

  1. 7/9/2000 7:41:00 PM Team9nine from INDIANA says Hook size
    Generally they recommend a #2 for the minnows/shiners and a #4 or #6 for leeches/crawlers.
  2. 9/7/2000 8:47:00 AM Rich Hawkins from INDIANA says Softcraws for Bait
I am looking for a wholesale distributor for softcraws used for bait. I have heard that there are dealers that you can order direct delivery from. I am interested in finding these for the 2001 season. Any help would be appreciated.

  3. 12/13/2000 3:44:00 PM rich Hawkins from INDIANA says softcraws
I am a softcraw farmer and we ship nation wide. STEPHEN SANFORD
